Virus and Spyware Removal

If your computer is infected by one of these problems and you're tired of your computer running slow and receiving constant pop-ups, let us get your computer running up to its normal speed.

- Spyware & Malware
If you are seeing new toolbars in your browser, excessive pop-ups, or your homepage has been switched, chances are that you are infected with an internet parasite. This is serious! Programs like this are more than a simple annoyance. Your privacy is being invaded. Spy-ware has the ability to install more software in your machine without your consent. What you are doing on your computer is being watched right now. There are companies that know you are looking at this page. They know what you typed to your family, friends and co-workers. They know what you are emailing to people. Hackers are watching to capture your credit card numbers, passwords, and other personal information.

- Trojans
A destructive program that masquerades as a benign application. Unlike viruses, Trojan horses do not replicate themselves but they can be just as destructive. One of the most insidious types of Trojan horse is a program that claims to rid your computer of viruses but instead introduces viruses onto your computer. Another common example of Trojan horses are programs that claim they are "FREE" and are disguised as games and screen savers.

- Viruses
A program or piece of code that is loaded onto your computer without your knowledge and runs against your wishes. Viruses can also replicate themselves. All computer viruses are manmade. A simple virus that can make a copy of itself over and over again is relatively easy to produce. Even such a simple virus is dangerous because it will quickly use all available memory and bring the system to a halt. An even more dangerous type of virus is one capable of transmitting itself across networks and bypassing security systems. Others cause harm by deleting files resulting in complete lockups and unrecoverable loss of important pictures and documents.

- Worms
A program or algorithm that replicates itself over a computer network and usually performs malicious actions, such as using up the computer's resources and possibly shutting the system down. Worms commonly act like viruses.
