-Fan and case cleaning.
Dust can hamper the efficiency of heat sinks, fans, vents and other internal parts. The exterior of the unit will be cleaned to bring that "like new" appearance back to your computer and monitor.
- Start-up optimization
Having unnecessary programs start up when Windows is started can drastically decrease system preformance. We will check to make sure only desired programs are automatically started.
-Temporary file deletion.
Windows does not do a good job of removing files that are no longer needed. We will delete any unnecessary files to free up disk space and helps speed up sluggish computers.
-Hard drive scan and defragmentation.
The longer you use your computer, the more fragmented the programs on the hard drive become. We will reorganize the drive resulting in faster file access.
-Antivirus status check.
We will update your current antivirus software, or, if needed, update your software to the most current version and reasonable prices.
-Spyware / Adware check:
We will scan your computer and system registry for all spyware, malware and adware and remove them. All of these parasites can cause extreme slowdowns and system crashes. It has been found that spyware will prevent you from updating to Windows SP1 and even crash the system.
-Install Windows critical updates.
Any update that is critical to the operation of your computer is considered a "Critical Update”. These updates are provided to help resolve known issues, and to protect your computer from known security vulnerabilities.
-Data Backup (Up to 750MB)
We will back up all of your files in the "My Documents" folder in the event of future data loss.
